The combination of the prestigious MotoGP World Championship and the challenging Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca has created one of the world’s great racing events, attracting nearly half a million spectators in the first three years. Only on the Monterey Peninsula can fans see the top riders in the world – Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden and others – racing the fastest two-wheeled machines on one of the world’s most demanding and scenic circuits. Off-track it’s the Friday night Fan Party, Saturday night concert and the now infamous nightly gathering of bikes and fans on Cannery Row.
